Top Bearing
This is the original top bearing. In the end it took 4 guys on the end of the boom to turn this bearing!
The new bearing consists of a 4-piece plastic bearing with a grease channel through it to ensure constant lubrication
Bottom Bearing
This is the original bottom bearing. This was the main point of failure as the bolts holding the bearing to the mast kept being spat out
Out with the old, in with the new! The redesigned bottom bearing responsible for keeping the 25 metre carbon fibre mast upright and rotating with ease.
